Aycock & Company LLP (an affiliate of Empower CFO LLC) was founded by Matthew Aycock in 2006 as a certified public accounting firm servicing high-net-worth families and their start-up to mid-size businesses. As the accounting firm grew, it was identified that while a CPA is an essential tool for professional and compliant tax strategy for their clients, a CFO is the essential tool for identifying a company’s financial strengths and weaknesses, working closely with leadership to define a strategic plan to drive growth in the business .
With the growth in start up to mid-size businesses and a strong demand for fractional Controller and CFO services, Empower CFO was created. Strategically aligned with Aycock & Company, Empower CFO is well positioned to deliver outstanding service to its clients ranging from accounting and consulting services to fractional Controller and CFO advisory .
